In the town of Granada, about 45 minutes from Managua, there are lots of pleasant cafes and restaurants. I was particularly taken by El Tercer Ojo, located across from the San Francisco Convento, when I made a day trip to Granada. I loved the bright colors, and all the fantastic masks and other art mounted on the walls. The cafe also had a pretty good library of books in Spanish. I was there in 2005. Does anyone know who owns this cafe or if it is still there?
